PRINT INFORMATION

General print specification

Wendy's watercolour prints are limited to an edition of 50 and each is hand signed and numbered by the artist. They are printed on a 310gsm Hahnemühle German Etching paper. There is an approximate half inch white border around the print to allow for both the signature and for framing.

The prints currently are produced in one of three different sizes that equate approximately to A3, A4 and A5. Please contact Wendy if you require alternative sizes.

The giclée process

The prints are reproduced to a very high quality using a process known as giclée printing. To create each giclée print the image is sprayed onto the paper at the rate of one million droplets of ink per second giving a continuous tone result that can be applied to nearly any paper surface. This technique, although slow, produces prints that are rich in colour, with a flawless velvety texture that matches the feel of the original. In fact, distinguishing one from an original can be very difficult, even to the expert eye.

Using only very specialised inks, the prints have the remarkable colour saturation that one would expect of an original painting. The light-fast inks can achieve scores of years of longevity.

Delivery

If required, delivery is charged at £4.95 for UK – please enquire about rates for orders from outside the country. Please allow 28 days for delivery as giclée prints are individually printed and may not be in stock at time of ordering. Your order will be processed as quickly as possible but in the unlikely event of a print being out of stock you will be contacted and given an expected delivery date.

To avoid damage, prints are sent unmounted in a postal tube.

Refunds and Cancellations

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase a refund of the purchase price less the shipping and handling costs may be effected. The refund is conditional on the print being returned in its original state and packaging within 20 days of its original shipping date.

Return the print(s), using the same postal tube in which your order was sent to you. You will then have your payment refunded via the same payment method used to place your order less the shipping costs. The returned print(s) must be in perfect condition and you have to pay the cost of returning the goods. Please also ensure that the package is tracked so that return receipt can be confirmed.
